ABOUT ARTWORDS (2011-2021)

ArtWords is a series of digital experiments using photographic images and random texts to create works without having a particular meaning. Referencing historical text in my paintings & drawings has always been a preoccupation, to add levels of meaning. I started Artwords in 2011 to create simple digital sketches to keep myself creatively active, while working full time, and during times without a physical studio. The intention was to gradually build these into a collection of works over time. For me they are a way to be connected creatively, to create digital expressions without any preconceived outcome.
